Softball Cricket Board of Control

On Saturday 29 th January 2005, this trio sat down in Orlando, Florida for many hours, preparing the proposed agenda to be presented to the Leagues in March. What will be presented will be the updated Laws of Cricket, modified for softball cricket, an interim Constitution and forms initiating registration and whatever information needed from each League .

There will be another meeting shortly to finalize the Presentation. Leagues response are very encouraging. Several have requested the Registration Package already.

This main objective is to recapture that part of our heritage that was slowly drifting away from us and collectively we can stop this slide.

Allow us the time that will be requested, and support us for this is united effort, so once again support the effort.

2004 Tournaments

Interstate Tournament
  • This years Interstate Tournament was won by WISA.
Masters Tournament
  • This years Interstate Tournament was won by WISA.
Sunshine Cup
  • It was played between NYSCA of New York and a team made up of mostly players from MSCL, a new South Florida League.
Florida Cup
  • It was played between WISA of New York and SFSCA of South Florida with WISA being the winner.

2005 - '06 Major Tournaments

Masters Cup & Interstate Competition
The 2005 Masters Cup and Interstate Tournament will be played in Orlando, Fl on March 18-20, 2005.
WISA Cup
A new tournament, the WISA Cup will be played in New York in the month of May '05. This tournament will be hosted by WISA.
Florida Cup
The 2005 Florida Cup will be played in Fort. Lauderdale/Miami, FL 28-30 of October '05.
World Cup '06
The next world cup of Softball Cricket, #3 will be played at a location and time to be announced.
