The benefits from effective core stability for cricket

  1. Correct postural alignment and maintenance
  2. Trunk or core region stabilisation during movement
  3. Force reduction produced in that area
  4. Power and force production

If your core is weak the arms and legs will be weaker: You are only as strong as your core.


Cricket Warm Ups

Warming up before a cricket match:

  1. increases your flexibility.
  2. increases your power.
  3. improves you coordination.
  4. reduces the risk of injury.

A warmup is one of the easiest and fastest ways to make a difference to your cricket.


Stretching Exercise

The aims of stretching are to gently lengthen muscles before and after any form of exercise, and to improve tissue elasticity / flexibility. If done correctly, stretching will help prevent injuries and increase athletic performance.
