These systems are used to calculate the Net Run Rate, decide in cases of Ties and for preventing those above from being implemented.
Keeping The Game In Check.
The game of softball cricket is much the same as the original form of the sport when it comes down to wins or losses.
The Duckworth-Lewis (rain) rule isn't used because we aren't as precise in keeping track of start, stoppages and many other variables that would have encouraged us to use this method of revising target scores.
The methods that are used are, the Net Run Rate, Incremental Points System and the Bonus Points System.
Systems

- Is used to achieve the team(s) that advances in a tournament.
- Incremental Point System
- Based on awarding points for better batting and bowling.
- Bonus Point System
- Additional points are awarded for better preformances.
